"Kobayashi Maru" is the first solo release by 12 x 12 and one that was completed during his relocation to Berlin from Brooklyn in winter 2013.

The EP consists of three original tracks, each completed in a relatively short period of time with the intention being to leave the original burst of inspiration in tact. Mastering was provided by Dubplates & Mastering in Berlin and the artwork is the result of a collaboration with the Berlin-based visual artist Nik Patrick Flynn.
